About the intended parents

Landon and I have been together for 8 years and we got married in 2013. The majority of our relationship has been long distance given that Landon is American and I am Canadian. Landon was a firefighter when he was living in the US and hopes to continue that career now that he has immigrated to Canada. I am a special education assistant with the Vancouver School Board. Landon loves to study and learn about history. Tara loves to devour a great book in one sitting. Both of us try to stay in shape Landon runs and lifts and I love to go for long walks and go to Daily Method classes. Our guilty pleasure? Binge watching TV shows.

What they are looking for

Tara has severe scoliosis that would make pregnacy difficult for her to carry. She also has a genetic disorder that can cause tumours, which could grow larger due to the hormones that pregnancy creates.

Personal message

From the beginning of our relationship we both stated we wanted children. I've known from an early age that having my own biological child would not be easy. I can't carry my own child. Once I go through IVF and harvesting my eggs, I want to have them tested so I don't pass my genetic disorder on to my child. This is something that I am adement about. If IVF and surrogacy don't work out for us, we will adopt. We are looking for someone who is willing to go on this journy with us.
