Accounts and Registration

• You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
• You should notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

Membership Types and Account Changes

When you register, you must choose the account type that accurately reflects how you intend to use SurrogateFinder, such as intended parent, surrogate mother, egg donor, sperm donor, or agency.

• Membership access, features, permissions, and pricing may differ by account type.
• You are responsible for selecting the correct account type before using paid features or contacting other members.
• Once an account has been used to contact members, view contact details, send messages, or otherwise use member access, we may not be able to change that account to a different member type.
• If you registered under the wrong member type, you may need to create a new account under the correct member type.
• A new account may require a new paid membership or activation fee, even if you previously paid for a different account type.
• Paid access is generally linked to the account type purchased and is not automatically transferable between account types, people, businesses, or profiles.
• We may refuse, restrict, suspend, or remove accounts that appear to be misclassified, misleading, used to bypass membership rules, or used in a way that is inconsistent with the selected account type.

If you believe you selected the wrong account type, please contact us before using paid features or contacting members so we can advise on the correct next step.

Use of the Site

You agree to use SurrogateFinder only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not harm the site, its users, or its services.

• You must not misuse the site, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with its operation.
• You must not submit false, misleading, abusive, or unlawful content.
• You must not use the service in a way that violates applicable laws or regulations.

User Content and Profiles

You are responsible for the content you submit, including profile details, descriptions, and communications. By submitting content, you confirm that you have the right to provide it and that it does not violate the rights of others.

We may review, remove, or restrict content that appears inappropriate, misleading, unlawful, or inconsistent with the intended use of the platform.

Messages and Communications

SurrogateFinder may provide tools that allow users to communicate or express interest in one another. We do not guarantee the accuracy, safety, or conduct of other users, and interactions remain your responsibility.

You must only contact members for purposes that are consistent with your registered account type and profile. For example, donor accounts should not be used to obtain access intended for intended parents or agencies.

Payments and Membership Access

Paid memberships provide access to the features, duration, and account type purchased at the time of payment. Prices, plan lengths, and available features may change from time to time.

• Membership payments are for the selected account type and plan only.
• Changing from one account type to another may require a separate registration and a new paid membership.
• Using a paid membership under the wrong account type does not guarantee a free transfer, credit, or replacement activation.
• We may decline account-type changes where the account has already been used to access contact details, send messages, or contact members.

Refunds and Used Membership Access

Membership fees pay for access to SurrogateFinder features and member contact tools. Once those features have been used, the membership is considered used.

• Accounts that have viewed, unlocked, copied, downloaded, or otherwise accessed member contact details are generally not eligible for a refund.
• Accounts that have sent messages, introductions, enquiries, or contact requests to other members are generally not eligible for a refund.
• Accounts that have used a paid membership under the wrong account type, or in a way that is inconsistent with the selected account type, are generally not eligible for a refund after member contact access has been used.
• Deleting, closing, changing, or replacing an account after paid features have been used does not create an automatic right to a refund, credit, or transfer.

This does not affect any rights you may have under applicable law. Refund requests are reviewed at our discretion and may be declined where the account has already been used to access or contact other members.

Suspension or Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the site or to specific accounts where we believe it is necessary to protect the service, comply with legal obligations, or enforce these terms.

Disclaimer and Liability

SurrogateFinder is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or outcomes from using the service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for loss, damage, or reliance arising from use of the site, user interactions, or third-party content.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted will be treated as acceptance of the updated terms.
