About Camila W***
Instead of describing myself, I rahther tell a bit of my history, so you have the chance to know me better. Women and children were protected inside the cabins, but there was no room for everyone. As the storm grew, the men clung wherever they could. Minus the young Adolf. At age 15, he was so thin and so frail that he could not hold anything. The waves were huge and beat against the hull of the ship with such force that before long, the sea and the wind would take him. The captain saw no other option but to tie the guy in the big central mast of the vessel. And so, my great-grandfather crossed the ocean without being swept away. I´ve heard this and other stories told by my grandfather. It was impossible not to become a fond of storytelling. I grew up in Rio de Janeiro, but spent many holidays in a charming country town, surrounded by three brothers and sisters and several cousins. Together we experienced adventures that would fit perfectly in a book of legends and fables. I graduated in journalism, learned to dance, discovered my love for Jorge Amado and Gabriel Garcia Marquez and earned a new sister. At age 24, I went looking for new adventures around the world. Took my master degree in Europe and came back to Brazil balzakian, willing to make come true an old dream: to attend history college, so I could hear real stories and spread them to the four winds in the form of tasty children's tales. That´s what I do now and next project is to take my PhD!
