I’m a married mother of two living in Maricopa, Arizona. My heart goes out to gay couples facing challenges in starting their families. Seeing my step-sister's journey as a surrogate ignited my desire to offer support in this way. I understand the journey can be overwhelming, and I’m here to provide a loving and selfless option. I am a petite, small-boned caucasian female. I have 2 amazing children of my own, ages 13 and 9. I had my last child by C-Section with no complications and my husband was allowed in the room for the delivery. I would love for you to be there for the birth of your child as well! I had a tubal ligation after my last child so I am not a viable egg donor, but if you have the eggs and the sperm I am a healthy stay-at-home mom who would love to be your surrogate.

Why Mistie M**** is here

I would like to be a surrogate mother for a gay couple because I feel there is a need for it. I realize the difficulty many gay couples have when trying to have children and it breaks my heart. My step sister, who is gay, had her own child using a sperm donor and she is now currently a surrogate for a male gay couple. Seeing her own generosity has inspired me and I would love to do whatever I can to help a loving couple start a family of their own.

Personal letter

I can only imagine how stressful the process of trying to start a family can be for a gay couple. The fear that the biological mother may come back for the child at any moment must be overwhelming. Using a separate egg donor and surrogate is sometimes easier on the egg donor, as they don't develop the emotional bond that occurs when carrying your own child. Also, a surrogate with no genetic ties to the child has no legal claim in most states. I know in my heart that I want nothing more than to help a loving, deserving couple have a child of their own and to set an example for my own children about the importance of love, compassion and giving. No matter which path you choose to starting your own beautiful family, I wish you the best of luck and hope you experience all the joy that children bring.
