We are a loving, stable, and educated couple in our late 30s in Toronto, and have been trying to have children for over two years. We were told early on that our best chances are with a surrogate, and were happy to go that route. We did proceed with a surrogate last year but sadly she miscarried at 6.5 weeks and decided to end her career as a surrogate, so we are looking for another GS to try for a baby with our remaining embryos. We now have 2 CCS-normal tested embryos frozen and planning on doing a double-embryo transfer to maximize our chances of a successful pregnancy.

Message from the intended parents

Please consider helping us fulfill our dream of becoming a family. We are a professional couple, Jeremy is a lawyer and Alexandra is a journalist. We are interested in reading, movies, travel and politics. We're fun, funny, loving and active people and we think we'll be awesome parents. We've also had a hell of a road with infertility, so serious inquiries only. Still, we believe that our experiences will make us wiser and more generous parents. Hopefully you are healthy, honest, stable, and have acted as a surrogate before. Preferably you are in Ontario, but we're willing to make exceptions and able to travel. We are hands-off and will trust you to make the best choices for your pregnancy. We do not have any requirements for diet, childbirth, exercise, etc, beyond "common sense" e.g., no skydiving!. We're not helicoptery at all and think we'd be pretty great to work with from a surro's perspective. As for our involvement, we would like to have an ongoing friendship with our surrogate. The natural form of this friendship will likely emerge as we get to know one another. We are always open to negotiation and are good communicators who respect boundaries. Whomever can help us achieve a family will have our lifelong support, love and gratitude.
