I am very much a people person. I love spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy travelling, going to gym, dancing, listening to music, singing and playing with my dogs. I have 3 nephews ages 4 to 2yrs and 1 niece aged 2 years that I love to spoil. My husband and I have also "adopted" our 16 year old niece that lives in Johannesburg as her mother is away often for work she is in the army and her father works long hours. We help with parental advise and she spends time with us during the holidays. My friends can rely on my for advice and I am someone that likes to help those less fortunate than me.

Intended parents surrogacy preferences

I have been on fertility treatment for 2,5 yrs. I've had 5 x unsuccessful Artificial Insemination and 5 x unsuccessful IVFs. I have also tried donor eggs and I was still unable to fall pregnant. I have a double uterus which makes falling pregnant difficult. I am 40 and advised by my Dr that I should try surrogacy. I have never been pregnant and would love the opportunity to have a child before my eggs become unsuitable.

Message from the intended parents

I met the man of my dreams very late in life and so only married at the age for 34. During our second year of marriage my husband was diagnosed with 3rd stage hodgkins lymphoma which meant very aggressive chemo as well as a bone marrow transplant. Thank fully he is now a cancer survivor and 3,5 years cancer free however this left him sterile. We then embarked on a process of fertility treatment 3 years ago where they discovered that I have a double uterus which makes falling pregnant very difficult. I have had 5 unsuccessful artificial insemination with donor sperm attempts and 5 unsuccessful IVF attempts. I have also tried donor eggs which also did not work. My doctor then advised that I try surrogacy as he believes that my uterus is the problem. My husband and I have had a tough 6 years of marriage due to health and fertility difficulties however we believe that one day our dream of becoming parents will come true. I turned 40 last year and would like to have a child before my eggs become unsuitable. We have 2 wonderful dogs that we love and treat as our "kids" but would love the opportunity to have a child to love. I know that the decision to be a surrogate is the most selfless gift any woman could give. I would never truly be able to repay your kindness but will be forever grateful if you chose us and helped to make the miracle we pray for, a reality. God bless.
