My husband and I have been together for 7 years. 2 years ago, we were finally ready for parenthood but had no luck by ourselves. We seek professional help and I was diagnosed with stage 2 endometrial cancer. We tried fertility preservation to preserve embryos in case my ovaries were affected. Went through IVF, and the night before retrieval, I'd ovulated and did not have any eggs. It was the most, heart reckon experience. I cried for days. We did not want to let the cancer grow anymore, so after failed retrieval, we went through with hysterectomy. Fortunately, I was able to keep my ovaries with the possibility of retrieving embryos. It is now 1 year later, Nov 2017 and we are ready to tackle IVF again. Tomorrow 11/17/2017 is our egg retrieval day and we are praying for many healthy embryos. We are now seeking a surrogate mother who can help us make our dream come true.
