My Letter To Surrogate Mother, Egg Donor Or Sperm Donor:

Dear Potential Donor, If you agree to be our donor, we will ask that you sign a contract giving away all parental and/or legal rights to any child conceived from your donation. My wife and I are not interested in having the donor in the child’s life. However, we will ask that you provide us with as much health history as possible both mental and physical histories for the sake of the child’s health and well-being in the future. We would also ask for you to provide proof that you are free from STI’s, as well as your CRV Status which has to do with possible complications during pregnancy if we don’t know the donor’s status for CRV. We are also not interested in “natural insemination” meaning we would ask you to provide just the donation only - we will take care of the insemination aspect ourselves. This may require you stopping by our home a few times to provide your “donation” around the time of ovulation until a pregnancy occurs.
