We are a family of 3. My 10 yr old son so desperately wants a sibling! My husband and I have been together for 14 years. We are in our late 30’s and enjoy many activities from hiking, swimming to reading and enjoying one another! We are a pretty stable family I work for a graphic arts company and my hubby owns and runs a local body shop. Of course my son goes to school he is in grade 4 and I know everybody always says that they have the perfect kid but he is pretty close!!! He plays on a soccer team and he is now in his 3 year of piano :

Our family just suffered a loss of twins this September after trying to get pregnant for 10 years. I was pregnant and at 20 weeks I found out I had what was called “twin to twin†when identical twin one gets to much and the other not enough. I had a surgery to sew my curvix to try and hold the pregnancy while one twin was making to much fluid, this procedure has now damaged it beyond repair so I am unable to carry a child. My official digagnosis is “incompetent curvixâ€. Extremely complicated and devastating. The twins were naturally conceived, to suffer the loss and instead of planning the baby room we planned a duo funeral as they were over 20 weeks so we named them and buried them in the nearby cemetery.

A letter, to a potential surrogate, words cannot even describe what an amazing possibility that a person existed of someone kind enough and selfless enough to make a family’s dream come true. Nobody truly knows the pain, tears of loss and disappointment are like unless you have been there. So the simple fact that YOU are even willfully going to choose to help a family in this way is so unbelievable!! To me it is so more then a “gift†It is actually really really hard to put it into perspective how utterly greatful our family would be and regardless of whom you choose from one woman to another we must agree the fact you will help a family with their dream is seriously amazing!!
