Intended parents surrogacy preferences

The reason why we are opting for Surrogacy is because my wife had multiple miscarriages when we tried naturally. Since then we learnt that my wife has a condition called Adenomyosis in her uterus, which affects her ability to continue with the pregnancy. Since then, we also tried for IVF but failed and then ended up with another miscarriage. We did consult with doctors and that is when doctors suggested us to go with Surrogacy/ Gestational carrier. Due to her condition, doctors have also advised my wife to go for a Hysterectomy, within a month.

Message from the intended parents

Dear Potential Surrogate, I don't know i f you want to call this as an exaggeration but let me begin this letter by saying that you are no less to us than “GOD”!!! From day one, since we got married, we knew one thing and that is one day, we would want to have a child of our own who would complete our family. A couple of years after marriage, we started actively working towards our goal of having a child. I still remember the day when we learnt that my wife is pregnant and our happiness knew no bounds. Unfortunately fate had something else for us and the pregnancy ended up with a miscarriage. The year was 2016. We were devastated but we still had hope. We tried again. A year later, we were pregnant but it again ended up in a miscarriage. This time, it was more devastating. It started affecting our lives. It was during that time that my wife started having painful periods but no doctor could tell us the reason behind the pain she was having during her periods nor the reason for the recurrent miscarriages. We were referred to multiple doctors. We met multiple Ob-Gyns, multiple fertility specialists and finally my wife was diagnosed with Adenomyosis that was concluded as the reason for her recurrent miscarriages. We still had hope. We were referred to Shady Grove Fertility Specialist and it is there, where we started looking at fertility treatments. The doctor told us the chances of my wife being pregnant was less and so at the start of 2020, we thought of surrogacy in India but the current COVID pandemic locked down everything and so the plan was put to rest as all surrogacy procedures in India were stopped. We came back and decided to pursue IVF with Shady Grove Fertility, even though the chances of her being pregnant was very slim. By the grace of god, we ended up with 5 good embryos. We implanted two embryos in my wife’s uterus but again ended up with miscarriage. All this while, my wife had gone through severe pain due to her Adenomyosis which has been worsening all this while. We are now at a point where doctors are asking my wife to go through Hysterectomy to remove her uterus by as early as June. If this happens, you are our only hope to have a child of our own.
