I’m 21 and looking to become a single mother by choice. Becoming a parent is something I’ve given a lot of thought to, and I feel ready to start working towards having a family of my own. I’m half Serbian and half Australian, and I speak three languages. I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Physics and Chemistry. Outside of university, I have quite a few interests — I love Wes Anderson films, 70s fashion, painting and clothing design. I also enjoy rebuilding old cars, rock climbing and archery, so I tend to have a mix of creative and hands-on hobbies. I own my own home, and my family lives next door, so I have a stable home and a close support network nearby. I’d like to give my child a stable upbringing while encouraging them to be independent, curious and interested in the world around them. I’m looking for a sperm donor who is responsible, healthy and straightforward, and who is comfortable with helping me become a parent. I’d like to find someone who is approaching the process seriously and who I feel comfortable communicating with. I’m hoping to find a donor who is a good fit for me and, ultimately, someone whose background and characteristics I’d be happy for my future child to know about.

Most importantly, I’m looking for someone who is genuinely comfortable with being a donor, takes the decision seriously and is open and honest throughout the process.

Ideally, I’m looking for someone who is somewhat similar to me — curious, intelligent, creative, independent and interested in learning and trying new things. I’d also like to get to know you as a person and learn about your interests, personality, family and background, rather than simply choosing based on physical characteristics. I know that becoming a donor is a pretty significant decision, and I really appreciate anyone who is willing to consider being part of someone else’s journey to becoming a parent. Hopefully, somewhere along the way, I’ll find the right person to help me bring a little new person into the world — someone who will hopefully inherit a few of the good bits from both of us.
