Following 30 years of marriage we are now separated and are awaiting the divorce to finalize, though the separation is very amicable and we are still friends, no anger, we simply want different things in life. I'm 57 and very much want children, which has always been my desire. I'm healthy, active, and still have hair. Although I used to smoke cigarettes and drink socially after work and at gatherings I stopped drinking and smoking in 2014. I worked in construction for 40+ years but recently retired to pursue personal interests. I may start a business in my spare time but I expect being a new parent will not afford much spare time for anything other than cleaning and rest. I'm ready to be a hands-on, full-time parent, spend all my time with my child and do my absolute best to ensure my child is loved and well educated.
