Dear Prospective Donor: I am hoping to find a Colombian donor. Why? I have a 3 1/2 year old daughter whos father is Colombian (though he lives here in Canada) - Even though him and I are not together any longer - we frequently visit Colombia so our daughter will know her family there and it is also VERY important to me that my daughter knows her heritage. I would like my 2nd child to share her nationality so the baby will learn about Colombia as part as their background as well. Also i think it would be nice for both my kids to share the same nationality. Even if you (the donor) do not want to be any part of the childs life (which we could discuss it if you want to be in their life)know that they will know about ur culture - it is very important to me.
