Professional chef and business owner. Successful. Above all, a good and compassionate human being. I am well traveled and have had professional assignments around the world. Professionally, I am a perfectionist and I take pride in my work. I can relate to people at all levels. I have managed large organizations but am equally as comfortable sharing a meal with a homeless person. I don't look my age, keep active and love the outdoors. I engage in a lot of activities -- if I am with someone, I am always considerate and am a good sport even in areas that normally would not interest me. Currently (this year) am writing a major cookbook on the cuisine of South East Asia. I am very easy to get along with and am very tolerant. I don't engage in immature or co-dependent type behavior -- largely because I have always been a confident human being. I've had a good life. I have grown over the years and have learned to discern the things that are important in life. While money gives us certain choices, it is not my master. I know how to love and to care for someone, especially a child. A great measure of my own happiness comes from knowing I have added to the lives of others. I love children and I have done a lot of community service work with youth. I am old-fashioned, not into rushing things. I think foundations are strengthened by time and not by short exchanges. We live in a hasty and noisy world, and we are tempted by instant gratification -- I choose to be serene and lucid. I know myself. I cherish friendships. People seem to think that relationships are based on all or nothing; I think a solid friendship precedes any real, long-term relationship. And when it comes to a child's life and future, there is no room for compromise in so far as commitment from the parent is concerned. Irrespective of whether our paths cross, I wish you a great life.
