Intended parents surrogacy preferences

DH (37) and I (39) are in search of a GS in the GTA/Ontario region. We're hoping to be close enough to be a part of the journey (important appointments, occasional meetings with the GS for belly rubs and chats and of course the birth) and far enough away for the GS's privacy (online chats and phone calls are great too). That being said, relationship is important to us as we believe that this is a bond (in whatever capacity) for life. We have 7 (grade 1& 2) totsicles on ice at a clinic in downtown Toronto. Our Reproductive Endo has said she would recommend putting 2 in at a time, so we have enough for hopefully 2 + tries! We’re just looking for one peanut but wouldn’t have a tantrum with 2 (though, DH might faint.. ha!) PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) leading to Uterine Cancer has brought us to the beginning of this surro journey. I had a hysterectomy this last summer and am so thankful for the current technologies that are out there to allow us to even have an attempt at this. If you’re out of province, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Though we’re “hoping” to find someone close, we are going to increase the search outward if we don't find someone locally. Currently, we’re looking in Canada only... We're willing to cover all expenses that fall within the legal contraints of Canadian Law. We're compassionate/realistic when it comes to SR/abortion (not wanting to, but will if medically necessary). Though it's our baby, we fully support the GS right to have a medicated birth and would fully support midwife & doulah supervised births. We would also enjoy a continued relationship through breastmilk if desired. (I am going to attempt to lactate too! :D) We're ready now, but we want the right match, not a fast match!
