We are a hetrosexual couple, both 41 years of age. My husband is an avide outdoorsman with all of the toys! I am more the laid back type, like to fish, do needlework and love art. He drives truck and I'm a paralegal (since 1988!)

I am not able to carry children. I have issues with my uterus and as such had a tubal ligation about 14 years ago. Due to my age (I'm almost 42) not sure if my eggs would still be good.

Hi there. I am the mom to be. We are a hetrosexual couple (2nd marriage for me) and we are both 41 years of age, I will soon be 42. I had a tubal ligation about 14 years ago as it was recommended that I not deliver any more children as my uterus could not handle it. I am also diabetic and a high risk. Due to my age, I'm not sure if I could carry, or if my eggs are still good (eg. chromosone issues, etc.). We were to adopt a baby which was born April 1, 2012. We had bought everything, birth mom was over everyday, went to all her baby appointments, etc. On March 31 (at the baby shower we were having) she went into labour, but didn't tell us. We went to the hospital on April 1 only to discover the other adoptive parents there, holding THIER baby. I was asked to leave the hospital. Needless to say, we were devastated. I do not want to go the adoption route and have to go through that again. I am hoping for someone to help with our journey of a baby. I have asked God many times why this happened to us, and asked for his direction. Perhaps his direction will lead me to you. Thank you for reading. We look forward to hearing from you.
