As a partnered gay man, I have always dreamed of having a child. Life took an unexpected turn when I was diagnosed with HIV, yet I remain healthy and hopeful. I learned about the sperm washing process, which ensures that I can have a child without passing on the virus. This possibility gives me strength during challenging times. While I'm not entirely sure about the costs and processes involved, my desire to become a parent is pushing me to explore surrogacy.
