I am a single gay male, that is truly blessed with an incredible life. I have a close loving family and friends that form the centre of my existence. I have passion for our country, its people and its wildlife, and my business allows me the opportunity to give back. I have tremendous opportunities to offer a child. Having my own child is something I have always looked forward to, and in the absence of a relationship, I believe the time is now right for me to pursue this avenue. It is not about just having a child – it is about creating, nurturing and sharing a life – giving a child t the opportunity to make a difference in this world and hopefully continue the legacy which I hope to continue creating. I support 160 HIV infected an affected children, and the time spent with children has made me realize how wonderful it would be to raise a child of my own. I am not adverse to adoption, however I have followed this route before and it is near impossible in this country despite our liberal constitution. I don’t believe that my sexuality would negatively affect a child’s upbringing, on the contrary I believe the opportunities I could offer my child would be quite the opposite. I would never hide who I am and I understand the prejudices associate to my sexuality, but I truly believe there are donors and surrogates out their understand and are companionate about the fact that men in a situation like myself, still have a desire to be a father. I long to have a child, and I would be truly indebted to both the donor and surrogate for allowing me this opportunity. I can assure you I will make an exceptional single parent an raise a child we would all be very proud of. Thank you, David
