I am an ER nurse, and I love change. I also love being busy. I am an admitted busy body. I love to cook, especially baking. I also love crafts, and sketching, so much that I just opened an ETSY store. I like to read, and my husband, daughter, and myself spend a lot of time reading. We also like the outdoors, and travelling.

Intended parents surrogacy preferences

We are unable to have a child because I had an emergency hysterectomy when my daughter was born very premature. We have considered adoption, but want to try to have our own child first.

Message from the intended parents

Hello, Thank you for your gift to a family who desperately wants a child. I can imagine no greater sadness than being unable to become a parent if you desire to do so. I realize that some may think that I am selfish for wanting to become a mother again by such unconventional means when I already have had the opportunity to become a parent previously. That may be true in some ways, but I know that my husband and I want very much to become parents. When I divorced my daughter's father, I was fine with the idea of not having more children. But then I met my husband 5 years ago, and have been wonderfully happy since. He had never had children of his own, and was thrilled to become part of my daughter's life. When we decided we wanted to look into options of a child of our own, we started exploring so many options like adoption and overseas surrogacy because it's more affordable. However we want so much to be part of the pregnancy, to see the birth, and feel the baby kicking. We know how difficult this may be, but it can't be more difficult than being a parent will be. Mostly we are just looking forward to the chance to grow our family, to spend time seeing our features in our child, and learning their special personality.
