I'm an intelligent (two bachelor of science degrees) fun loving active man who has been financially very successful. I'm semi-retired and work from home mostly. I love to travel having traveled all around the world as well as extensively in the United States. I'm active in sports and the outdoors such as hiking, camping,skiing, playing football with my brothers, sisters, nephews and nieces, swimming, or just gardening. I have a variety of interests from going to movies, the theater and museums, taking off-road trips to see sights out in the wild, going to sporting events, barbequing or cooking gourmet meals at home, or just making popcorn to watch movies at home.

Intended Parent preferences

After marrying my wife she soon developed cancer and we were not able to have any children. She did, however, have two children from a previous marriage that I helped actively raise from a very young age. They are two wonderful loving kids that graduated from college, have good jobs/careers and are either now married or about to be married. My wife's cancer returned several times and she died recently. I've always regretted not having my own children as even though I'm very close to my stepchildren I know that I still come in second to their real dad (rightly so), plus they will now have their spouse's families involved in their lives (rightly so again).

I'm 59 years old but in great health and very active. I believe I would be a good parent. My step-children tell me they think I was a great parent, that they love me, and they thank me for being involved in their lives. I helped them with schoolwork, driving them and their friends to school events and extra curricular activities (and yes I stayed for these events), listening to their problems and concerns and helping them address these problems, playing games and reading stories to them when they were smaller, taking family vacations together, helping teach them to drive, as well as financially caring for them. I'm looking for an egg donor and surrogate mother that is intelligent and healthy. I welcome the egg donor and surrogate mother to be as actively involved in the child's life as they want whether that is significant or very little. My wife and her ex-husband hired a woman to help take care of my step-children when they were born and she has been in our employ since then, and would be available to help care for the child as well.
