About the intended parents profile

I was a legal studies/Paralegal major but I quit to be a (loving) stay-at-home mother. I have been a volunteer to womens' shelters, soup kitchens, an animal foster, PTO co-chair at my son's last 2 schools, and I currently homeschool one child because traditional schools in our area do not have advanced programs for him. I currently attend classes online for website design so that I can go to school when the kids are sleeping, and so that someday I will have a job that will allow me to do work from home so that I can continue to be a stay-at-home mother to our children while I earn an income. My children are my #1 priority to me above all else. I am the mom that entertains all the kids on the street where we live with hers, the one that bakes the cookies, has the sleepovers, and has weekly boardgames with family and friends. I am 5'10" tall, 165 pounds, was born in April 1977, have blue eyes, and (naturally) medium brown hair with highlights. I am of Irish, French, and Belgium decent. My husband is 6'2", 195lbs, very athletic, was born in March 1975, has medium brown hair, brown eyes, is of German decent, and has his Masters Degree in Engineering. He is a United States Guardsman with the Air Force, and has a steady verifiable income. Because of his work, our family has the benefit of job security and paid medical so we will always be able to provide for our family. He is very anxiously ready to be a Daddy again. Neither of us smoke or drink (except a glass of wine on a special occasion like an anniversary).

Intended parents surrogacy preferences

I have 2 children from prior to my marriage, I was a surrogate before (carried triplets/3babies), then I married my husband and we have 1 child together. Sadly, I have had very serious (sometimes life threatening problems) during pregnancy and I cannot carry a baby. This is our only option. We would like to have another child so we need a surrogate that we can do IVF with using our embryos. We can pay a decent amount, but can''t afford the enormous costs of an agency. My husband is military and has a steady income. I am a stay at home mother, and I am attending school online(when the kids are napping or or asleep) so our children always have a parent''s attention and care.

Message from the intended parents

I am a very dedicated and loving mother to my children, and my husband is a great father. He loves our family so much that his only wish is that we had a bigger family to love. It pains me that I cannot give this to him, and we are already in the process of preparing for this with an IVF fertility specialist in California. We live in Fairview Heights, IL but we will be traveling as much as needed, and to work with anyone that is in a state where surrogacy is legal. (Because we will be using the Fertility specialist in CA I selected CA for our state in our Profile to give us the best chance of finding someone within the same area.) Our surrogate can be single, married, in a relationship, straight or gay. We don't discriminate. We only require proof of being healthy (physical, HIV test and STD test, and few others) to ensure the health of our future child. We also do not want any surrogate that smokes, drinks, or takes any medications that can cause defects or harm to the baby (as determined by a doctor, if you are taking any medications). Although, I would hope that all surrogates are willing to do this. If you can find it in your heart to help us with this, please don't hesitate to contact us. I am willing to answer any and all questions. We are willing to work with an individual with an attorney (to protect both our rights) or an agency we can afford.
