About the intended parents

I am 37 years old and my husband is 45 years old. We share our home with 2 dogs and 2 cats. We enjoy camping in our RV, travelling, getting together with friends for 'family fun' nights and basically just enjoying our time together. The only thing missing in our lives is the joys of having a child.

What they are looking for

We have been happily married for 5 years now, and have been trying to conceive our own child for 5 years as well. It's been full of ups and downs, with many medical procedures required, all in the hopes that we could finally move on to IVF. In December 2013 I was diagnosed with uterine cancer and had to undergo a hysterectomy. Thankfully it was caught early and I did not require any further treatment, and still have my ovaries. However, our dreams of carrying our own child have been shattered.

Personal message

We would like a surrogate mother who lives in Canada, preferrably BC so we can attend as many appointments as possible. We want to be involved in the pregnancy as much as we can, and also with what she is comfortable with. We also hope to have an on-going friendship with our surrogate as she will always hold a special place in our family and hearts for giving us the greatest gift of all. Furthermore, she must have children of her own already, and love being pregnant.
