We have endured many years of IVF without success and Di was diagnosed with breast cancer 4 years ago, the treatment for which put a stop to further fertility treatment. She has an excellent prognosis-the Doctor ranked her likelihood of being “cured” as well over 97%. She is back to full fitness, swims, runs and cycles and looks after our very active 5 year old nephew for all of the school holidays.
We have only recently considered surrogacy after friends of ours were blessed with twin boys just before Christmas, through surrogacy. We have started to think we are not at the end of the line and we could still be parents, as there are women like you, who recognise their own blessings and are willing to share the gift of their fertility.
