Why We/I Want A Surrogate Mother, Egg Donor Or Sperm Donor:
We are in need of a Gestational Surrogate as we have two frozen embryos - and due to our last pregnancy I am not able to go through another pregnancy.
We are Catholic and believe that life starts at conception, so we need to give these two little ones an opportunity. |
Description Of Us:
My husband and I waited a long time to find one another, neither of us had been married before, but the Lord didn't put us together until I was in my early 40's.
We knew we wanted to have children and begun the process.....immediately going to fertility specialists due to my age, etc. We have had a long, hard road......we have done 3 transfers....during the 1st one we transferred 2 "fresh" embryos, both initially took, then at about 5 weeks one no longer had a heart beat. Our pregnancy was rough, we were told that we'd never see our little girl born. She had severe growth restriction due to a poor attachment of the umbilical cord to the placenta. I was on bed rest from week 17 through to when she was born the last two weeks in the hospital being monitored multiple times each day. She was born at 29 weeks, 17oz - and God blessed us with 5 beautiful days with her.
Our 2nd transfer we did 2 "frozen" embryos, neither of which took.
For our 3rd transfer we did 2 "frozen" embryos, both initial took, but again at about 5 weeks one no longer had a heart beat. We were so blessed again, our 2nd little girl was born - early and small, 35 weeks 4lbs 7oz....but healthy as can be - she'll be 2 in a couple of months. The main issue was that I was back in the hospital the same day I was discharged with Heart Failure...and therefore can not risk getting pregnant again, as my Doctors are concerned that I would have the same issues. |
My Letter To Surrogate Mother, Egg Donor Or Sperm Donor:
We are looking to partner with a GS located in Colorado, ideally within 2 hours of Colorado Springs, as we want to be involved in the pregnancy.
Of course we'll want to have dialogue, etc to ensure we are a good match for each other.
We just went through the process of designating a guardian for our daughter in the event we pass away before she's of legal age and it provided us with so much additional insight.
The person we engage with to be our GS will be responsible for our childrens welfare before ensuring their body is healthy, etc and during the pregnancy. We're looking for someone who shares our morals, etc.
Thank you in advance for considering us. |
