About the intended parents profile

I'm a gay 33 year old man living in the Beaches area of Toronto and working for TD Canada Trust as a Financial Advisor. Ideally I would like to raise a child in a two-parent household however as time goes on I'm not sure if that is going to work out. Regardless, I am still looking to pursue parenthood on my own and would likely move back to my hometown on Bowmanville, Ontario to raise a child as I have a large family support system to help me out.

As far back as I can remember, I have always wanted to become a father. I have an amazing relationship with my own parents which really makes me want to give back to someone what they gave to me.

Message from the intended parents

Currently I'm mainly focused on an finding an egg donor as I'm looking to freeze the embryos and pursue the surrogacy in a couple years time. In terms of an egg donor, I'm looking for a relatively young early to mid 20s, healthy individual of any race or ethnicity. A potential donor's family medical history would be very important to me. Obviously no family's history is perfect, mine included, but I would like to have an idea of the details. When it comes to a donor's involvement in the child, I'm very open to the possibilities. Again, the actual surrogacy with a separate surrogate would likely take place in 2 or 3 years. Still, if a donor wanted contact with the child once the process was finished I would certainly be ok with that. I'm not necessarily looking for a co-parenting arrangement but anything shy of that would be ok. On the flipside, if that donor wanted no involvement, that would be absolutely fine as well. As for a surrogate, I'm looking for someone I can get to know well to make sure I'm a great fit for you and you're a great fit for me. This is such an important decision, I really want to get it right and it obviously I want it to be right for you too.
