Surrogate Mother journey and preferences

I do not want to have my own children. I fostered my three nephews from the time I was 19 and still have a very parental role with them now that they are living with their parents. I realize that is what I am meant to do. I would like to one day be able to foster more children but more than that, I want those who wish to be parents to have the opportunity to do so. I actively support human rights and would love to be able to have a child for a gay couple.

Message from this surrogate mother

Because of the life I envision for myself, I know that I will never have any biological children. I know that a biological link is not what makes one parent and child. The greatest years of my life were spent raising my nephews, even if that did happen unexpectedly. To me, they are my sons but I also had to let them go so that the parents who were meant to have them could raise them and love them because that person was not meant to be me. I look at surrogacy in the same way. For a little over nine months I would foster your child within my body, care and love for him or her and then he or she will be given to you to love and care for. I would be open to the child 'knowing' who I am, but that is not a requirement and I understand completely why parents wish for that not to be. (Also, my city is not in the drop-down list. I wanted to state this so you would not think that I was trying to hide anything. The zip code I've used is correct.)
