The Reasons I Want To Be A Surrogate Mother:

I grew up with 5 siblings and a daycare in my home, and have always had a love of children. I've never taken for granted the fact that I'm able to conceive because my mother was adopted due to her parent's infertility. I don't think surrogacy is something that is easy for someone to do, it takes a very specific type of person. Given that I'm mentally, emotionally, and physically healthy and stable, I feel it is my responsibility to give someone something they wouldn't be able to have otherwise. |

I'm a 21 year old who is about to graduate with a BFA. Although recently I've been focusing on drawing and painting, I have a foundation in animation and furniture design and fabrication. I was born in Canada but grew up in New York City, where I reside when I'm not at university. I've been babysitting and nannying since I was 11, so I have a lot of experience with children and families. In my spare time I like to read a lot, recently focusing on memoirs/biographies, philosophical texts, and books about how the brain, and therefore how humans, function. I also love to exercise, through running, yoga, parkour, rock climbing, and anything new I have time for. I also enjoy cooking and baking. I am a very positive and hardworking person. |

Although I'm interested in helping a couple from New York City, since that is where I primarily live, or Minnesota, where I'm currently attending school, I'd be willing to travel as well. |
