I wish to become a surrogate because I know there are so many couples whose one wish is to become a family and if I can contribute to that, it'd be one of the most wonderful feelings in the world. I'm healthy, happy, but I'm also a lesbian and have decided that I have no intension of having my own children at this stage. My main aim in life is to be a Foster Mum and I feel that I'd be wasting the opportunity to give another couple the family they so deserve.

After thinking long and hard about what I want from my life - the wish to make a difference, to do something life-changing for myself and for other people - I can't think of any other way which could be more rewarding than giving a couple the chance to potentially become a family. I'm a huge believer in the fact that... If there's a chance worth taking, then go for it. If something's worth fighting for, then fight for it and if something's worth giving, then share it. A child is precious - I know because I'm a God-Mum and I find it astonishing how... A small person can transform everything you believe in. To watch them sleep and breathe, smile, laugh, learn and grow - there is no comparison to that feeling. If I can give you the chance to feel that with your own child, then I will take that chance.
