I am a 28 year old married Mother of two happy and healthy little boys. I enjoy the outdoors and being active with my family. I am currently taking a break from my career as a Developmental Services Worker doing family support and respite for families who have children with disabilities to be a bus driver which enables me to stay home with my children. I've always loved working with children and am always known for doing babysitting for someone else's children. I enjoy fruits and vegetables and we eat a healthy and nut-free diet in our home. We try to do primarily gluten free, as well as growing our own chickens, eggs, and goats milk for our consumption and health benefits. I consider myself very knowledgeable about birth, and my ideal IPs would be interested in primary care being with a midwife and having a doula present. My belief is that this is the best way to achieve the most positive outcome for both myself and the baby. A midwife can deliver in a hospital setting as well. This is a common misconception.

Surrogate Mother journey and preferences

I have always wanted to be able to be a surrogate for someone else. I've always had a passion for pregnancy, infants and children. This became even more important to me after giving birth to my first son in July 2010. Having my own child made my desire to help others to be able to have that same connection and love much more intense.

Message from this surrogate mother

I love being pregnant. I felt amazing all through my own pregnancies. This has become something that I long to be able to do for someone else. As I mentioned, I'd much prefer midwifery care, but am open to discussion. I have lots of information if it's not something you're familiar with. My preference is a drug-free natural birth if possible. I do not feel comfortable with termination unless there is a medical danger to myself. Ideal IPs would not be considering termination even if tests showed a possibility of birth defects or a disability. I know this is a tough choice for some, but this is not negotiable for me. I am willing to pump breastmilk temporarily for the baby as well if it's something the IPs wish for. I already have my complete screening finished, including counselling, bloodwork and sonohystogram as I had been working with IPs but we mutually agreed after some contract discussions that we had a few things we could not compromise on. I am ready for transfer as soon as I get to know you and we have contracts written. Please consider me as a surrogate for your baby. Please feel free to contact me for more information.
