Ciao, we are Cinzia and my husband, a couple from Savona, Liguria. For 16 years we’ve dreamed of having children but haven’t been able to due to my struggles with hormone therapy. We are looking into surrogacy and egg donation as the path forward. With no children of our own yet, it’s important for us to understand what the process looks like and what steps we need to take. Salve. Sono una donna di 47 anni sposata da 16 anni. Io e mio marito non abbiamo figli. Avevo incominciato anche la terapia ormonale per la fecondazione in vitro ma ho dovuto smettere perché non sopportavo gli ormoni, nemmeno quelli che favoriscono l’impianto (respiravo a fatica e mi venivano macchie rosse sul viso e sul corpo, i medici mi avevano detto che ero allergica agli ormoni e che non potevo assolutamente prenderli). L’unica strada per noi è dunque la maternità surrogata con donazione di ovociti. Ci potete dire com’è la prassi, cioè come si svolge il tutto. Se dobbiamo fare degli esami preliminari (oppure se li deve fare solo mio marito visto che io non uso i miei ovuli). Grazie anticipatamente e arrivederci.
