Hi, we’re Mark and Laura, a couple from South Morang, Victoria. After 20 years of trying to have a baby, we recently learned that we can't conceive using my eggs due to matching DNA genes. We are a heterosexual couple. We are both 45 years of age, we have brown hair and brown eyes and are both Caucasian. We are both very easy going, energetic and caring people. We enjoy camping/outdoors, beach holidays and both enjoy going to the gym.

Intended Parents preferences

After 20 heart-staking years of trying to have a baby, we have recently been advised by our Dr that I am unable to carry my husbands baby or use my own eggs for we have 2 matching DNA Genes. My body rejects my husband sperm and any embryo with his DNA, therefore we need an egg donor and a surrogate.

We have been trying to have a baby for 20 years. I started trying when I was 25 and I am now 45. We've lost count how many IVF procedures we've had and being told so many reasons as to why we couldn't get pregnant. Finally we found a Dr that ran a DNA test only to be told that my husband and I carry 2 identical matching DNA Genes. My world was shattered - So now for me to have a baby with my husbands sperm, we require an egg donor and a surrogate. Time is not on our side for we are both 45 turning 46. All I can say is that from when I was a little girl all I ever wanted to be was a mum, I never imagined my life any other way... So if you would like to help, we would love that...Mark & Laura....
