About this intended parents profile

I am 170cm with brown hair and eyes and work as an office coordinator. However due to the stressful nature of the position I will be looking at leaving after I have completed my Diploma of Management in May/June. I have a love of travelling and this lead me to move the London to live for 3 years, during this time I met my wonderful husband Glynn. It was one of those moments that people tell you about, that when you meet you just know you are meant to be together. We moved back to Australia in 2009 and have been married for 6 1/2 years. We bought 5 acres in the hills with the dream to give our kids the lifestyle I had growing up. We love it up here, the fresh air, the quiet and the stars! I know it sounds corny but sometimes it is taking that moment to realise how lucky you are. Glynn was born in West Yorkshire and grew up in the UK. He is 6' with blonde hair and blue eyes and is over the moon to be working at the WACA as his love of cricket is huge! Since moving to Australia Glynn hasn't looked back. We have two gorgeous fur babies both Kelpie crosses and we love them to bits.

Over the last 6 years, my husband and I have tried to start a family. We have had two heart breaking miscarriages. I have done what I can to be healthy to fall pregnant including undergoing weight loss surgery. My husband has been incredibly supportive in every way possible. We were at a point where we asked my sister to donate eggs and she was supportive and willing but unfortunately it was too much for my brother in law. I love that they looked into doing this for us and respect how difficult a decision donating such a sacred part of yourself this is.

A lot about us is covered in the areas above and whilst doing a lot of research one of the questions I have asked myself is "There are so many couples desperate to have a family, why would someone chose us?" well chances are that we may not be one of the lucky ones but I a true believer in everything happens for a reason. This has been proved to me time and time again and as I sit here writing this letter to all those beautiful souls who selflessly look at giving such an intimate part of themselves to a couple they don't know, i have faith that the right thing will happen to us and want to thank you for taking the time to get to know us briefly.
