We’re an Australian couple living in Perth, both working as primary teachers, and we cherish our family time outdoors with our puppy. I have cystic fibrosis, which makes pregnancy unsafe for me after my double lung transplant in 2008. We’re blessed to have a beautiful daughter, thanks to my wonderful cousin’s generosity as our surrogate. Now, we're looking to grow our family and bring another child into the world, envisioning their bond with our daughter. I have Cystic Fibrosis and in 2008 I had a double lung transplant. Because of my medication, it's not safe my baby or myself to be pregnant.

Message from this intended parents

Hi lovely potential surrogates I am fortunate enough to be able to create embryos with hubby. But my big problem is that I have cystic fibrosis, which affected my lungs so badly that I had to have a double lung transplant in 2008. Thanks to my medical and support team, I'm still going strong today. However with any organ transplant, the recipient has to be on medication for the rest of his or her life. This means that if I carry my baby, my medications would also be absorbed by them and potentially be harmful to them. My health could be fatally affected as well. Fortunately my eggs are unharmed. So, I come to surrogatefinder after having the most wonderful experience of my cousin carrying our first child, a beautiful girl who is nearly 2. She is a dream come true for my husband and I. Tonight while I was stroking her hair it made me think that I couldn't image our life without at least trying to bring one of our embryos into this world, her brother or sister... We are hoping to find our special lady one day, we would be forever grateful and I hope you realise you'll be part of our lives in some way forever! Thank you.
