About this intended parents profile

I am a New Zealander and have been living here in Melbourne for 15 years now. My husband is an Aussie and we have a 3 year old daughter Chloe. My husband and I are both only children and it was always our desire to have 2 children. We had Chloe naturally and then after 2 years of unsuccessfully trying for our second it was necessary for me to have some surgery resulting in an unexpected hysterectomy. We are turning to surrogacy in the hope that we can realize our dream. We are both fairly laid back people, we love to travel and try to get away at least once a year or when there is a cheap air fare sale!, we like to be busy on the weekends and can often be found trawling around markets and garage sales on the weekends or at home enjoying the back deck if the sun is shining. I work part time in event management and Luke works in OH&S.

Luke and I are seeking a surrogate mother to help us realise our dream of giving our 3 year old daughter a sibling and a most wanted second child. I can by far say that this surrogacy journey has been one of the most full on experiences in my life and it is really only just beginning! I would dare say you would find yourself in a similar position? While I cannot say exactly how this might turn out - what I can pledge is that we will treat you the way we would want to be treated with respect and dignity and empathy. Having gone through a pregnancy myself I seemed to get all the symptoms in the book including 6 month long morning sickness! I would certainly try and understand how you were feeling at various steps along the way work with you to ease any speed bumps we may encounter. I look forward to getting to know you a bit better and embarking on this journey together.
