I am 41 and my husband is 51, we have been very happily married for six years and trying for a baby to make our family complete for many years. We moved from London back to my home county in order to be closer to family and friends and to start a family but due to medical complications this sadly isnt to be unless, of course, we can find a special person to help us. We try to make the best of things and fill our lives with fun and adventure but there is somehow always something missing and we are so aware of this emptiness in our lives especially at times such as Christmas when our home is filled with nieces and nephews but sadly not our own children. We have our own business and work together and we are friendly, relaxed and easy going with a good sense of fun. We both love animals and have dogs, chickens and kune kune pigs (who I have to say are rather gorgeous)

Intended parents surrogacy preferences

After several failed attempts at IVF and numerous procedures and operations over many years, we have been advised by our Consultant that the prospect of IVF working and my being able to carry a baby to full term is negligible. We presently have two frozen embryos that we would like to try in a Host Mummy. We are able to produce very high grade embryos but we need to find a very special person who can help us to carry them

Message from the intended parents

Due to various medical problems I am unable to carry a child and we are therefore looking for a very, very special person to make our dreams of completing our family come true. Could you possibly help us fulfil our dream of having our own child? I know its a huge thing to ask but it truly does mean the world to us...... We have experienced so many failed hopes and dreams over the last few years we are just clinging on to the teeniest bit of hope that there might be someone who would be willing to help us. In return we would willingly offer as much support and friendship as it was possible to give. We presently have two frozen embryos and we would like to see if these work in the first instance. Were these not successfu we would then be hoping to try another cycle. We have registered with a clinic in the West Midlands who are very happy to help us in any way possible but we would be willing to travel if we found a perfect 'Host Mum'. Please can you help us? Ideally, we'd love a responsible, kind person who already has children and has found it easy to carry a baby with no complications. In a perfect world we'd like someone who has already acted as a Surrogate as I don't think we could bear the pain if there were any issues at the end of the term.
