Hi, we’re Craig and Chloe, proud parents to our wonderful daughter Sophia and our energetic Labrador, Duke. After facing health challenges during my pregnancy with Sophia due to HELLP syndrome, we’ve had to reconsider our options for expanding our family. We would love to find a surrogate who can help us bring another child into our lives while keeping everyone’s well-being in mind. We are Craig and Chloe, we have a beautiful daughter Sophia and a Labrador, Duke! We live in Lancashire, UK. Craig is a property developer, and I have a childrenswear boutique, which I absolutely love!

Intended parents surrogacy preferences

I had HELLP syndrome when pregnant with our daughter, which resulted in her prematurity. We are both very lucky to be alive. I really would love to be able to give her a brother/sister but have been told there is a 50/50 chance of it happening again, and find the risk of leaving her without a mum heartbreaking. I have also had immune problems and vision issues since, I feel I had a ‘lucky escape’ and I am terrified of the potential repercussions if I was to survive another pregnancy. One of the mums I follow who also had HELLP syndrome with her son has recently had another baby and so sadly passed away due to the disease, which has really made the decision that it would be too risky. I am hoping we might be able to find a lovely surrogate who can help us extend our family.

What a difficult letter to write! I’m not quite sure how to express the emotions involved in such an overwhelming gift as helping us potentially have another child. I hope that we find someone that would be willing to help us!
