Our names are Shirin and Zaiaad, and we are the proud parents of our beautiful daughter, Reyna Sofia, who came into our lives through adoption in 2025. She is our miracle, our laughter, and our light. From the moment we held her in our arms, we knew that parenthood was our greatest blessing. But our hearts still hold space—for another child, and for giving Reyna the lifelong bond of a sibling. Getting here has not been easy. Because of my lifelong blood disorder, Beta-thalassemia, pregnancy has never been safe for me. Over the past few years, we went through 4 IVF cycles and 8 embryo transfers, each filled with hope and faith. After endless appointments and countless tears, doctors finally discovered the likely reason for all of our losses: iron deposits in my uterus from years of blood transfusions. These deposits act as a barrier, making it physically impossible for an embryo to implant. It was devastating to learn, but it has led us here—with open hearts, ready to take the next step. What you are considering—helping another family grow—is nothing short of extraordinary. For us, it would mean everything. We don’t take this lightly. We promise to support you every step of the way—emotionally, personally, and financially—so you always feel cared for and never walk this journey alone.
