About this intended parent profile

I'm a 39 year old female, who turns 40 in March and obviously desperately wants a baby. I am financially secure, but have not found the right man at the right time and not been successful with my IVF journey as a single Mum. I would have been happy to adopt however being single and this old makes things difficult. I wish I could help some starving children in Africa, but it does not work that way unfortunately. I am a lecturer at a local university and teach nursing. I also work as a nurse when required. I have a love for caring with particular interest in the aged, those with neurological problems and the young. A also find working with my students very rewarding. I am about 5'7". I have dark brown hair. I'm a little overweight (cuddly). I come from a very loving family with supportive parents. My sister has 4 young children and my brother is about to have his first with his partner.

I am a single female who has been doing IVF for the past two years. My first cycle ended up in an ectopic pregnancy and me losing my right tube. I have done 8 unsuccessful cycles all up. The doctors now question if I can hold a baby. I am currently going though tests regarding this matter.

Hello and thank you so much for listening. I am a single woman who has been trying to do IVF (unsuccessfully) for 2 year (8 cycles). I would like a little soul in my life to love and care for. I cannot believe there are people that are this generous in the world. That said, if I end up with left over frozen embryos, I would donate them to other couple as I now understand the pain and trauma of not having a child.
