I am 39 yo and happily single for several years however I have always yearned to be a mum. I have a loving family and amazing friends. My greatest joy in life so far has undoubtably been joy of having my sisters two children in my life. I have loved being an aunty & sometimes 2nd mum to them but I still hope and believe that my turn to be a mum will come. In my late 30's I realised that my time was running out & with the support of friends & family I decided to embark on a path to being a mum on my own. My journey started 2 years ago and unfortunately has been unsuccessful to date after multiple failed ivf cycles using donor sperm. My issue is low ovarian reserve which also affects egg quality. So I now hope to continue my journey to reach for my dream with the gift of donor eggs also. It is comforting to know that there are others in life who appreciate the joy of families & children so much that they would offer such a precious & invaluable gift.
