I was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer when I was 29 years of age and unfortunately I had to have radical treatment. Thankfully before I started treatment my husband and I were given the opportunity to freeze our embryos. They are currently stored in the HARI unit in Dublin, Ireland. I am sure everyone who experiences difficulty with starting a family go through their own journey. My story is a little different. To save my life I had to have radical treatment and surgery which resulted in me being unable to carry my husbands babies. I was blessed with having an amazing medical team and I have 5 frozen Embryos stored. I was not diagnosed early because at the time I fell ill my husband and I were trying to conceive.
