About this intended parent profile

I am an energetic, confident and fun loving person. I teach drama to primary and secondary students, and work also as a marriage celebrant. I love theatre and am often acting in a play, and have had couple of plays I've written published, one about the pain of losing pregnancy.

Intended Parent preferences

Seven years ago I had a son- such a blessing. But in the last six years I have lost four pregnancies - one miscarriage at 9 weeks, then 3 losses in the second trimester, due to an incompetent cervix. The diagnosis was never clear until the last loss, which is why i kept trying. All of the babies were alive and healthy but my body was unable to hold them. They had to be delivered when too young to survive. The sense of loss is indescribable and I deeply wish for a living child, but cannot deliver one myself.

Dear Surrogate Mother, Thanks for considering being a surrogate. Your generosity is amazing. I am a loving mother, would raise this child with a happy wider family and a loving older brother too. I would be happy to maintain contact with you in future if you wish so you can see the child that you helped to create grow up.I have had so much loss and hope still to turn this to the blessing of a child. I am unable to adopt as I am single, although in a very good friendship with my former partner. Surrogacy is my only remaining hope.
