I am 34 years old and my partner is 41, both born in New Zealand. Neither of us are able to conceive naturally. I have no womb due to having cervical cancer so that's kind of a major problem, but I still have my ovaries which have been tested and they are happy and healthy. My partner has also just had his swimmers tested, which we just found out that he can't have children naturally without the assistance of IVF, yep we make a great pair. We are looking for an amazing women to be a gestational surrogate for our family. My partner and I have been together for 2 years and he has no children of his own. We would really love to have a child together but unfortunately, due to me having cervical cancer 2.5 years ago, our options have been limited.

In an ironic turn of events, I always dreamed of becoming a surrogate for a loving family who were unable to have a child of their own. A few years back I had my regular pap smear which came back abnormal. I then had to have two more pap smears six months apart which both came back with abnormal results. After numerous hospital visits and more tests, it was discovered I had cervical cancer and required an immediate hysterectomy. At the time all this was happening, I was a single mother of two children and was more heart broken that I could never offer another couple the chance of a family. Little did I know that my prince charming was just around the corner. Two and a half years later, I am in fantastic health, have found the man of my dreams and would love nothing more than combining our family together with a baby. My two children, aged 15 and 12 are fully on board with our wish and haven't stopped asking us when they will have a brother or sister since we first asked them of their thoughts. We all agree that a baby would complete our family. Up until a month ago, we were almost ready to have a surrogate inseminated with my eggs and my partners sperm, but unfortunately our surrogates baby making parts are causing her problems so everything came to a sudden halt. I am not going to lie and say that I wasn't devastated, but her health means the world to me and I will always be grateful for her very generous offer. I realise I have had some amazing luck over the past couple of years, all in which I appreciate immensely, but I am going to try my luck one last time to see if there is an amazing person out there that will grant us our last wish.
