About this surrogate mother profile

I am a young and healthy, 19 year old woman (the form would not allow me to pick my proper birth date), currently residing in Oro-Medonte, just outside of Orillia/Barrie, approximately 2 hours north of Toronto. I do not smoke, do not consume coffee, rarely consume alcohol and run 3 km daily. In addition to this I also spent 5 years as a vegetarian/vegan, so I understand what it takes to cut certain things out of your diet (i.e. reducing fish consumption during pregnancy). My current diet includes a lot of white meat, fresh vegetables and fruit. I am completely open to your full involvement in every aspect of the pregnancy, even including my diet, exercise routines, prenatal visits and of course being in the delivery room. I am also open to the possibility of pumping milk as I believe breast milk is the healthiest option for any child (: My aspiration is to attend one of the three universities in Ontario ( Mcmaster, Laurentian, Ryerson) that currently provide a 4 year program in Midwifery, leading to a degree of Bachelor of Science in Midwifery. I feel that, experiencing childbirth and pregnancy myself can only help to improve my understanding and admiration of what I hope to one day call my profession.

Surrogate Mother journey and preferences

The why is simple: I could do this for someone. I could make a difference in someone's life by helping them bring a miracle into this world. I can't imagine how it must feel to want to have a child of your own so bad, yet not be able to.
