As a single gay man in Italy, I find joy in my work as a medical doctor for an NGO and my travels, especially across Africa. Although my journey to fatherhood has been challenging due to restrictions on adoption, I’m excited to expand my family with the help of an egg donor. I already have 5 frozen embryos, but I envision having two children, and I would be open to an African donor. About this intended parent profile

I'm a single gay man. To date I don't have a partner, but I feel comfortable with this. I'm a medical doctor, and I work for an international humanitarian NGO, therefore I spent months abroad, especially Africa. I dream of a multicultural society, where ethnicity, sexual orientation and religion do not play a key role in human to human interactions. I love traveling and learning foreign languages, I like open air activities. I love getting to know new people, although I look shy. People say I'm a quiet and reflexive person, although sometimes I see myself anxious and a bit nervous. And of course, I love children!

Intended Parent preferences

I'm single and I want to be a father. My first plan was to make an adoption, but in Italy singles are not allowed to adopt, not even abroad. Therefore I started a surrogacy program in Bangkok, Thailand, just before the crackdown. So far I have 5 frozen embryos from a Thai donor, ready for implant, which will be soon shipped to Europe, where an agency will help me complete my surrogacy journey.

Whoever you will be, egg donor, I thank you in advance for your big-heartedness and open-mindness. As I said, I have already some embryos from a Thai donor, but, as I would like to have 2 children, I wouldn't mind one of them being of African descent. I will discuss with my agency the possibility of performing a second IVF with a new donor.
